At Folksome Flower Farm, we envision a world where flowers are more than just fleeting beauty – they connect us, ground us, and remind us to celebrate both special occasions and everyday moments. Our flowers are grown with the hope that they’ll bring joy, intention, and a sense of celebration to every space and life they touch.
Our Story
It’s been over a decade since I grew my first cut flowers. I’ve come a long way since that 13-year-old who used to ask her dad for her own spot in his garden to grow sunflowers, zinnias, lavender, and more. From trying (and failing) to grow sweet peas for the first time to now growing on 1/6 acre, flowers are what help me slow down and connect to what life is really about.
I dreamed of an intentional, simple life where we could be surrounded by beauty every day, and also share that beauty with others. So instead of a honeymoon, us newlyweds bought our 1940s country home on 10 acres, and got to work. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and we’re just getting started.
So here we are – growing a life we love and just trying to do some good in the world. It really is as simple as that.
